Nina’s pups are gaining weight (colour marked to keep individual records)
Nina, bless her is also putting on a little flesh and she no longer has that gaunt, hollow look. She has even managed to smile for the camera!!
awwww, I want one!

Awwww, she looks really happy here! And after such a traumatic birth too! What a nightmare for you!! Hope we have an easier time with her sister!! She due any day now so we have started the anxious wait. xx
Love the web site and Nina’s litter looked wonderful. You must be very proud of her.
My Girl Guinevere is due to have her second litter shortly, and she seems to be a lot larger than last time, so I am hoping she won’t have the same problems that Nina had to endure (fingers crossed)
On a lighter note, I must pick your brains now. Can you please tell me what you use to mark the pups with?
We used permanent marker last time but Guinevere’s rasping tongue soon made short work of that idea, and we were constantly re-marking the puppies (much to Guinevere’s annoyance)
Stuart.
Hi Margaret,
Thanks for the tip about using nail varnish to mark the puppies with. Unfortunately it appears that Guinevere has a bottle of nail varnish remover “stashed” away in the whelping bench somewhere! We eventually ended up using indelible marker again, as we discovered Guinney doesn’t like the taste of the red one!
Just like to add that all of her 7 puppies have now found new homes with wonderful, happy people who now can’t wait to collect their new family members.
P.S.
So Glad your new boy has passed all medicals.
Best wishes,
Stuart Nicklin.
